FluIn this sixth week of the epidemic, the overall trend in flu-related visits is stabilizing, with:- a decrease in visits to primary care physicians (Sentinel data) ,- a slight decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations for influenza across all age groups, but an increase among children ,- stabilization in emergency room visits for influenza across all age groups, but an increase among children ,- a decrease in reports of severe cases admitted to intensive care (18 sentinel units) ,- a decrease in reports of clusters of acute respiratory infections (ARI) in long-term care facilities.

All-cause mortality: Nationally, a marked and significant increase in mortality has been observed for the fourth consecutive week (weeks 2016/50 to 2017/01).In Île-de-France, an increase in mortality is also recorded for weeks 2016/51 to 2017/01 (i.e., 3 weeks of increase).
