The number of emergency department visits for ALRI increased (+4%), with 2,335 visits compared to 2,244 in week 42. The increase in the number of emergency department visits for ABLIs was primarily driven by the rise in emergency department visits for ABLIs among younger patients: 1,128 visits (+30%) in Week 43 compared to 870 in Week 42 for those under 15 years of age. The situation was the opposite among those over 15, with 1,207 visits for acute respiratory infections in week 43 compared to 1,374 in week 42 (-10%).

  • In community settings: The activity rate and the number of procedures related to lower respiratory tract infections remained stable in data from the SOS Médecins association.
