Asthma

  • Following a sharp increase in the number of emergency department visits and the number of visits followed by hospitalization for asthma in S11, the number of emergency department visits for asthma in S12 decreased across all age groups.

  • Decrease in SOS Médecins visits for asthma among those aged 15 and older. Increase in the number of visits among children aged 2 to 14.

COVID-19

  • SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater: In S12, an overall trend toward stabilization in the level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in wastewater was observed (5 of the 7 wastewater treatment plants have interpretable results).

  • At SOS Médecins and in emergency departments, activity related to suspected COVID-19 remained low.
