Nanterre Youth Health Center: a prevention and support center for 12- to 25-year-olds.

In Nanterre, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, the Youth Health Center welcomes young people aged 12 to 25 to a space designed to provide a warm welcome, a listening ear, medical care, and guidance. A multidisciplinary team of professionals—including a psychologist, social worker, and doctor—offers free and anonymous consultations. The first few minutes of the visit are crucial. In 2005, six hundred young people visited the center, most often without telling their families.
