Surveillance of Occupational Diseases in the Hauts-de-France Region: Results for the 2017–2018 Two-Week Periods
As part of its mission to conduct epidemiological surveillance of occupational risks, Santé publique France has established, in partnership with the Medical Labor Inspection (IMT) of the Ministry of Labor, a system for the epidemiological surveillance of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This national program, launched in 2003, included seven French regions in 2017 and nine regions in 2018. In Hauts-de-France, the program is jointly conducted by Santé publique France, the IMT of the Regional Directorate for the Economy, Employment, Labor, and Solidarity (Dreets), and the Regional Health and Social Observatory (OR2S). It relies on the voluntary participation of occupational physicians and medical staff in the region, who report twice a year with the support of nurses. This brochure presents the results of the three “Quinzaines” conducted in 2017 and 2018 in the region.
