HIV Testing (LaboVIH)
The total number of HIV serology tests performed was 74 per 1,000 inhabitants in 2019 in the Hauts-de-France region. After remaining stable since 2010, it increased slightly in 2019.
The proportion of positive serology tests per 1,000 tests is estimated at 1.0 in 2019. It has fluctuated between 0.8 and 1.1 since 2010.
HIV Diagnoses (HIV D)
The rate of newly diagnosed HIV-positive cases in Hauts-de-France is stable (41 per million inhabitants in 2018) and lower than that of mainland France excluding the Île-de-France region (61 per million inhabitants in 2018).

AIDS Diagnoses (AIDS DO)
The number of AIDS diagnoses is estimated at 4 per million inhabitants in 2018. In Hauts-de-France, the number of AIDS diagnoses per million inhabitants was declining in 2018, a trend also observed at the national level.
Among people diagnosed with AIDS, heterosexual transmission was the primary mode of transmission
Gonococcal infections and recent syphilis (ResIST)
The number of gonorrhea cases has stabilized, following an increase observed since the start of surveillance. Gay and bisexual men accounted for 81% of gonorrhea cases in 2019.
The number of reported syphilis cases declined in 2019 following an increase in 2018. Gay and bisexual men accounted for 85% of syphilis cases.
