Key points: Heat-related illnesses

Nationwide, following the drop in temperatures since early August, there has been a decrease in emergency room visits and calls to SOS Médecins for heat-related illnesses. The numbers are approaching those of previous years but remain higher than in 2011 and 2012, excluding heat waves. The same pattern is observed at the regional level. Météo France does not forecast a heat wave in the coming days; biometeorological indices are expected to remain below threshold values.
