Health Monitoring of Migrant Populations in Grande Synthe. Epidemiological Update, April 23, 2017.

On April 11, 2017, the La Linière camp was destroyed by fire, and the migrants were dispersed, temporarily housed in nearby gymnasiums, and then referred in the following days to reception and orientation centers in the Hauts-de-France region and other parts of mainland France.Given the dispersal of migrants from the Grande-Synthe site, which has led to a significant decrease in healthcare utilization, this Epidemiological Report, “Health Surveillance of Migrant Populations in Grande-Synthe,” will be the last. The Cire will nevertheless remain vigilant regarding healthcare utilization among migrants present along the region’s coastline.
