In the Hauts-de-France region, during the period of March 1–7 (Week 9), 19,746 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection were diagnosed (compared to 20,418 cases during the period of February 22–28), representing a slight decrease (-3%) compared to Week 8. Despite the slowdown observed last week, the regional situation remains very concerning due to the very high number of new cases.
