To date, 10,262 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the Hauts-de-France region
Community-based surveillance
Sentinelles Network: downward trend with 91 (tele)consultations for acute respiratory infections per 100,000 inhabitants in week 2020-16 (124 in week 2020-15)
SOS Médecins: downward trend with 839 COVID-19-related calls per 10,000 medical procedures in week 2020-16 (1,142 in week 2020-15)
LABM (3 labs): downward trend with 17% positive tests in week 2020-16 (23% in week 2020-15)
Hospital surveillance
Oscour® Network: downward trend with 809 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 visits in week 2020-16 (1,138 in week 2020-15)
Hospital laboratories: downward trend with 19% of tests positive in week 2020-16 (24% in week 2020-15)
Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes
5,477 cases of COVID-19 among residents, including 465 deaths in the facility and 342 in the hospital, reported through April 21.
Surveillance of severe cases
Sentinel intensive care units: 368 severe cases of COVID-19 reported by intensive care units, of which 52% were aged 65 and older, and 77% had at least one underlying condition.
Mortality surveillance
Excess mortality from all causes ranging from high (Nord and Oise) to very high (Aisne) depending on the department continues to be observed in weeks 14 and 15 in the region.
