Heat Waves and Health in Hauts-de-France: A Look Back at Summer 2023 [Infographic]
The Hauts-de-France region experienced a heat wave in June 2023 and another in September 2023, during which the following were recorded: 251 SOS Médecins calls (38 in September), 565 emergency room visits (130 in September), including 267 that resulted in hospitalization (62 in September), and 46 heat-related deaths.
