Adapted physical activity improves the health and quality of life of all patients [Interview].
In 2016, oncologist Jean-Philippe Wagner came up with the idea of outfitting a bus to reach isolated patients in the suburbs and rural areas. This vehicle, equipped for adapted physical activity (APA), is helping to develop an APA network throughout the Hauts-de-France region. This physician emphasizes the importance of physical activity in primary prevention for the general population, as well as the significant benefits of adapted and personalized physical activity for any patient with cancer or other chronic diseases.
