Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

The flu epidemic continues but appears to be leveling off, with the number of visits for flu-like symptoms decreasing compared to late September. Hospital activity related to the flu remains low for the time being. One severe case linked to the A virus was reported in late September. The flu viruses currently circulating in the region are type A, including A/H3N2.
