Analysis of the epidemiological situation

In Martinique, Zika virus circulation is very low. The department is in Phase 4 of the Psage* "end of epidemic."

In Guadeloupe, since the end of the epidemic, epidemiological surveillance indicators show low viral circulation.

In Saint Barthélemy, the end of the epidemic was officially declared on January 26, 2017, by the Management Committee.

The criteria for the end of the epidemic, previously defined by CEMIE members, were met during the first week of January.

In Saint Martin, the epidemic has been over since late December 2016. The Management Committee met on February 21, 2017, to formally acknowledge this change in phase

In French Guiana, over the past four weeks, the number of clinically suspected Zika cases has been low.
