Analysis of the epidemiological situation

In French Guiana, during the first two months of the year, the number of clinically suggestive Zika cases was low, and no biologically confirmed Zika cases were reported in the territory during this period.The current epidemiological situation, as determined in June 2017 by the Management Committee upon the recommendation of the Expert Committee, remains at Phase 1 of the Psage* “sporadic cases” across the entire territory.
