Analysis of the epidemiological situation

In the French West Indies: In Guadeloupe and Saint Martin, the onset of dengue transmission is currently being observed, with six biologically confirmed cases reported since late October (DENV-1 serotype). Other cases have been reported and are undergoing biological confirmation. In Martinique, a highly suspected case is undergoing biological confirmation.

In French Guiana: The situation is calm, and no confirmed cases of dengue have been reported since August 2016.
