Key Points
For the two SOS Médecins associations in Alsace, in week 47, activity related to influenza and influenza-like illnesses has increased slightly but currently accounts for less than 2% of each association’s total activity.
Currently at the national level, the epidemiological situation has shown, over the past few weeks, an initial increase in the number of visits to emergency departments and SOS Médecins associations for bronchiolitis, consistent with the start of the epidemic season. In week 46, the number of bronchiolitis diagnoses made by the SOS Médecins association in Strasbourg increased, while activity related to bronchiolitis at the SOS Médecins association in Mulhouse remains low. The proportion of bronchiolitis diagnoses accounts for less than 10% of the total activity of these associations.
Over the past two weeks, activity related to gastroenteritis has increased and is similar to what was observed in previous years during the same period.
