In Week 35, a gradual slowdown in SARS-CoV-2 circulation across the entire region, with new hospitalizations stabilizing.

  • The BA.5 sublineage has been stable and dominant since week 24

  • Decrease in emergency department visits and stabilization of new hospitalizations; slight decrease in the number of deaths, the number of cases in intensive care units, and new admissions to critical care units

Monkeypox

  • In France, 3,721 biologically confirmed cases have been recorded, including 36 cases in the Centre-Val de Loire region

  • Gastroenteritis: activity was moderate and stable at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments

  • Chickenpox: activity declining at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments

  • Allergies: activity slightly increased at SOS Médecins and slightly decreased in hospital emergency departments

  • Asthma (ages 2–14): activity was stable at SOS Médecins and on the rise in hospital emergency departments

  • Heat-related illnesses: activity was stable at SOS Médecins and slightly down in hospital emergency departments
