In Week 36, the incidence rate decreased (-25% compared to the previous week) and the positivity rate fell (-17%) against a backdrop of a stable testing rate (-6%). This trend was consistent across all departments.
Among the tests screened regionally for variants of interest, 0.0% had the E484K variant, 0.7% had the E484Q variant, and 92.3% had the L452R variant.
Decrease in emergency room visits for suspected COVID-19, SOS Médecins calls for suspected COVID-19, and hospitalizations.
Increase in critical care admissions.

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea: Activity stable at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments.
Allergies: Activity down at SOS Médecins and stable in hospital emergency departments.
Asthma (ages 2–14): Activity slightly up at SOS Médecins and up in hospital emergency departments.
Heat-related illnesses: Activity increased at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments.
Week 35:
All-cause mortality observed at the regional level was consistent with expected values for this period, for all ages and among those aged 65 and older. At the departmental level, none of the region’s departments showed a significant excess of mortality for all ages or among those aged 65 and older.
