Influenza

  • Activity for influenza-like illness was stable in hospital emergency departments and at SOS Médecins and slightly decreased in private practice (Sentinelles). Activity for the region was low in hospital emergency departments. No deaths attributed to influenza were reported in week 44.

COVID-19

  • Activity for suspected COVID-19 was down in hospital emergency departments and at SOS Médecins. Activity for the region was low in hospital emergency departments. Ten deaths attributed to COVID-19 were reported in week 44.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • In week 44, activity for gastroenteritis was stable in hospital emergency departments and on the rise in community practice (SOS Médecins and Sentinelles).

  • Overall activity for the region was low in hospital emergency departments.
