Key Points

Asthma and ENT conditions: The number of emergency room visits for asthma among people under 75 is on the rise. Renewed increase in SOS Médecins consultations, above seasonal averages. Hospital emergency departments and SOS Médecins continue to see high volumes of patients with ENT conditions. Circulation of rhinovirus/enterovirus: 23% of respiratory samples tested positive (12/53) at the Virology Laboratory of the Brest University Hospital.

Influenza and influenza-like illness: Use of SOS Médecins has increased over the past two weeks, affecting those aged 15–64. Circulation of type A virus remains stable at the Brest University Hospital (positivity rates of 20% across 59 samples).
