Measles Outbreak at a School Since January 13, 2014, an outbreak of measles, a notifiable disease, has occurred at a school in Rennes. Following an epidemiological investigation, it was found that 40% of the children had not been vaccinated against the disease. No cases of measles have been reported among vaccinated children. To date, there have been 63 cases, including 38 within this school and 25 secondary cases outside the school.We recommend that you be sure to report any cases to the ARS Bretagne Regional Health Surveillance and Emergency Platform at the following phone number: 09 74 50 00 09, and to offer measles vaccination.
