Severe cases of influenza: Since week 44/2016, 52 severe cases of influenza have been admitted to intensive care in Brittany; two have died. Fifty-one were infected with a type A virus and one with a type B virus. The average age was 65 years. Forty-six patients had at least one risk factor targeted by vaccination.

Activity remains slightly above seasonal averages in both sources.High activity in primary care: incidence rate of acute diarrhea estimated at 220 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [128, 312], unconsolidated Sentinelles data). Circulation of Rotavirus and Norovirus. No circulation of Adenovirus.
