Invasive Meningococcal Infections (IMI)
In Brittany, 24 cases of IIM were reported throughout 2024. Since the beginning of 2025 and as of February 26, 2025, 17 cases have already been recorded, including 11 in Ille-et-Vilaine.
Influenza and influenza-like illness
Post-epidemic activity.
Decline in the monitored epidemic indicators.
Bronchiolitis
No epidemic activity.
Decrease in RSV detection according to the Virology Laboratories at Rennes University Hospital and a slight increase according to Brest University Hospital. Other viruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are circulating, notably rhinoviruses.
Pneumonia
Decrease in visits to hospital emergency departments and calls to SOS Médecins.
Utilization remains high among adults.
Gastroenteritis
High activity.
Indicators show an increase in the number of emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations.
