COVID-19
Low activity.
In week 25, the incidence rate (IR) and positivity rate (PR) are at low levels, against a backdrop of a very low testing rate (TR).
Acute gastroenteritis
Low activity. Emergency room visits have stabilized across all age groups, while SOS Médecins consultations have increased, primarily among those aged 15–74.
Asthma
Decrease in emergency room visits, primarily among those under 15, and stabilization of SOS Médecins consultations in week 25.
ENT conditions
Decrease in ENT conditions in hospital emergency departments and stabilization of SOS Médecins consultations. Decrease in the detection of rhinoviruses/enteroviruses by the Virology Laboratory at Brest University Hospital (9/42, positivity rate of 21%). Data for the Virology Laboratory at Rennes University Hospital are not available for week 25.
Extreme heat, heat wave
The seasonal surveillance system is active from June 1 through September 15. Brittany has been under a green heat wave alert since the start of surveillance.
