COVID-19

Continued increase in the incidence rate (IR), testing rate (TR), and positivity rate (PR). The regional (unadjusted) IR rose from 480.9 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 24 to 779.2 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 25. IRs are rising in all four departments. There has been an increase in emergency room visits, general care and critical care hospitalizations, and a slight rise in calls to SOS Médecins. Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence stands at 84.6% for one dose and 83.8% for a full course.

Extreme heat, heat wave

Brittany is under a green heat wave alert. There has been a slight decrease in healthcare utilization for heat-related conditions this week (compared to Week 24, when a heat wave swept across France).

Moderate activity. General upward trend in SOS Médecins indicators. Continued high activity among children
