COVID-19
Low activity.
In week 23, the incidence rate (IR) and positivity rate (PR) remained stable at low levels, against a backdrop of very low testing rates (TR).
Acute gastroenteritis
Moderate activity. Emergency room visits have stabilized, and SOS Médecins consultations have decreased across all age groups.
Asthma
An increase in emergency department visits, primarily among children under 5 and adults aged 15–74, and a decrease in SOS Médecins consultations across all age groups in week 23. Emergency department activity levels and the monitored SOS Médecins indicators are slightly above seasonal averages.
ENT Conditions
Stabilization of ENT conditions in hospital emergency departments and a decrease in SOS Médecins consultations. Stabilization in the detection of rhinoviruses/enteroviruses by the Virology Laboratory at Brest University Hospital (13/45, positivity rate of 29%) and by the Virology Laboratory at Rennes University Hospital (7/47, positivity rate of 15%).
Extreme heat, heat wave
The seasonal surveillance system is active from June 1 through September 15. Brittany has been under a green heat wave alert since the start of surveillance.
