COVID-19

  • In Week 06, the incidence rate (IR), the testing rate (TR), and the positivity rate (PR) are all declining.

  • Oscour®: The number of emergency room visits remained stable in Week 06 (27 visits); 67% of visits resulted in hospitalization in Week 07 (compared to 63% in Week 06). Suspected COVID-19 cases accounted for 0.2% of emergency room activity across all age groups (compared to 0.2% in Week 06).

  • SOS Médecins: low number of SOS Médecins consultations (21 consultations in S07 compared to 22 in S06). Suspected COVID-19 cases accounted for 0.6% of SOS Médecins activity in S06 (compared to 0.5% in S06). The number of consultations is low across all age groups.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • Epidemic activity.

  • Stabilization in the number of SOS Médecins consultations and emergency room visits.

  • Stabilization of influenza B virus circulation according to the Virology Laboratory at the Brest University Hospital.

  • Circulation of influenza A virus is declining.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Moderate activity.

  • Decrease in SOS Médecins consultations for gastroenteritis across all age groups and decrease in emergency room visits among those under 15.
