Whooping Cough
In Brittany, an increase in visits to hospital emergency rooms and calls to SOS Médecins has been observed since April, with a sharp rise in June. In July, the upward trend continues but appears to be slowing (unconsolidated data). A follow-up update will be provided in early September.
COVID-19
Increased use of community emergency services and decreased use of hospital emergency departments.
Pneumonia
Pneumonia activity remains higher than the values typically observed for this time of year among adults.
Extreme heat, heat wave
Low indicators.
Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea
Moderate activity. The indicators being monitored are close to the averages for the same period in recent seasons.
Asthma
Decrease in visits to community and hospital emergency departments over the past two weeks following the peak observed in week 28.
Allergies
Decrease in the number of emergency room visits for allergies in week 30.
Slight increase in the number of SOS Médecins consultations.
Chickenpox
Downward trend in the number of emergency room visits since early May.
Decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations.
