COVID-19
Oscour®: slight increase in the number of emergency department visits in S14 (78 visits compared to 69 in S13); 56% of these visits resulted in hospitalization (compared to 55% in S13). Suspected COVID-19 cases accounted for 0.5% of emergency department activity across all age groups (compared to 0.4% in S13).
SOS Médecins: slight decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations (35 consultations in S14 compared to 51 in S13), with the decrease affecting those aged 15–44. Across all age groups, suspected COVID-19 cases accounted for 0.9% of SOS Médecins activity in S14 (compared to 1.3% in S13).
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
Non-epidemic activity.
Decrease in SOS Médecins consultations and emergency room visits. Decrease in the circulation of influenza B virus according to the virology laboratories at the Rennes and Brest university hospitals.
Acute gastroenteritis
Moderate activity.
Slight increase in emergency room visits and decrease in SOS Médecins consultations for gastroenteritis across all age groups.
