Bronchiolitis

• Activity outside of an epidemic. Stability in the indicators monitored in hospital emergency departments and SOS Médecins. Low detection of RSV according to the virology laboratories at the Brest and Rennes University Hospitals. Other viruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are circulating, notably rhinoviruses.

COVID-19

• Downward trend in SOS Médecins consultations and hospital emergency department visits. The associated activity rates (all ages) are similar to those observed in 2024. Stability in SARS-CoV-2 detection in respiratory specimens analyzed by the Virology Laboratory at the Rennes University Hospital and a decrease at the Virology Laboratory at the Brest University Hospital.

Influenza and influenza-like illness

• Activity outside of an epidemic, very low. Low detection of influenza A virus according to data from the Virology Laboratories at the Brest University Hospital and the Rennes University Hospital since early September.
