Bronchiolitis

• Pre-epidemic activity. Stability in the indicators monitored in hospital emergency departments and an increase in SOS Médecins consultations. An increase in RSV detection according to the Virology Laboratory at Rennes University Hospital and stability at Brest University Hospital. Other viruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are circulating, notably rhinoviruses.

COVID-19

• Low activity. The proportion of cases in hospital emergency departments and at SOS Médecins (all ages) is similar to that observed in 2024. Decrease in SARS-CoV-2 detection in respiratory specimens analyzed by the Virology Laboratory at the Brest University Hospital, with stability at the Rennes laboratory.

Influenza and influenza-like illness

• Activity outside of an epidemic, low. Detection of influenza A virus remains low according to data from the Virology Laboratories at the Brest University Hospital and the Rennes University Hospital.
