Key points

  • Activity outside of an epidemic. Stability in the indicators monitored in hospital emergency departments and SOS Médecins. Low detection of RSV according to the virology laboratories at the Brest and Rennes University Hospitals. Other viruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are circulating, notably rhinoviruses.

COVID-19

  • Low activity.

Influenza and influenza-like illness

  • Low activity outside of an epidemic. Low detection of the influenza virus according to data from the virology laboratories at the Rennes University Hospital and the Brest University Hospital.

Gastroenteritis

  • Moderate activity. Increase in emergency room visits and decrease in SOS Médecins consultations across all age groups.

Pneumonias

  • Stable number of emergency room visits and a decrease in SOS Médecins consultations for pneumonia

Asthma

  • Moderate activity. Slight increase in SOS Médecins consultations and decrease in emergency room visits.

Allergies

  • Increase in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations.
