Key indicators

City-wide monitoring

  • SOS Médecins: 66 cases of suspected COVID-19 (Q16 vs. 105 in Q15)

  • Sentinelles Network: 56 consultations for acute respiratory infections per 100,000 inhabitants (Week 16, 75 in Week 15)

  • LABM (in the city and 3 labs): 303 confirmed cases since the start of surveillance

Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes

  • 269 facilities with a report, having declared 77 deaths in facilities, including 64 in the 91 facilities with a confirmed case.

Surveillance in hospitals

  • Oscour® Network: 361 visits for suspected COVID-19 (Week 16 vs. 492 in Week 15)

  • Hospital laboratories: 1,939 confirmed cases since the start of surveillance

  • Hospital wards: 430 hospitalized patients, including 74 in intensive care.

  • Sentinel intensive care units: 55% of cases aged 65 and older and 66% with at least one comorbidity.

Mortality surveillance

  • At the regional level, no excess mortality was detected through week S15.

  • In Morbihan, excess mortality was observed in week S14 across all age groups: all ages, those aged 15–64, and those aged 65 and older.

  • In the Côtes d’Armor and Ille-et-Vilaine, in week S15, the number of deaths is already higher than in week S14. No excess mortality has been detected so far.
