The Brittany region did not experience a heat wave during the summer of 2024. However, the heat did have an impact on public health, with 134 heat-related deaths recorded over the course of the summer. In addition, there were 649 emergency room visits (503 of which resulted in hospitalization) and 81 SOS Médecins calls related to the heat wave.
