Health Monitoring in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Bulletin of September 18, 2025.

Key Points

COVID-19

  • On the rise: A steady increase in the detection of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater has been observed since mid-July in the region (as in France).

  • The proportion of suspected COVID-19 cases continued to rise this week: 0.7% of emergency room visits (vs. 0.3% in Week 1) and 3.2% of SOS Médecins calls (vs. 1.6% in Week 1). The impact on emergency care appears to follow the same trend as in the previous two seasons.

Non-specific SurSaUD surveillance

  • No unusual increase in all-cause activity among SOS Médecins associations and emergency departments. Indicators remain at the levels observed during the two previous summer seasons for the same period.
