  • The epidemic trend (TAG tests only) is increasing in week 48, as is the positivity rate. This trend is consistent with the indicators for all tests combined (available TAG and RT-PCR tests) and with the overall trend observed in France.

Bronchiolitis

  • Epidemic phase

  • The region has been in the epidemic phase for 8 weeks

  • Continued significant increase in emergency department visit rates for bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age, at particularly high levels

  • SOS Médecins activity remains significantly higher than in previous years

Flu

  • Epidemic phase

  • Entry into the epidemic phase this week, with a continued increase in flu-related activity in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins organizations in S48

  • 4 reports of clusters of acute respiratory infections in long-term care facilities

  • One severe case of influenza admitted to intensive care was reported by the intensive care sentinel network

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity rates at SOS Médecins clinics are close to those observed during the 2020-21 season and remain below last season’s levels

  • Activity rates in emergency departments are higher than in 2020-21, but remain below last season’s levels
