Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes
The number of cases has been decreasing since March 23 (Week 13)
The majority of cases and deaths are reported in nursing homes
Hospital surveillance
Oscour® Network: 884 suspected COVID-19 cases per 10,000 visits (Week 17, 1,389 in Week 16)
Hospital laboratories: 10% of tests positive (Week 17, 15% in Week 16)
SI-VIC: 1,199 people hospitalized, including 191 in intensive care as of April 28, 2020
Sentinel intensive care units: 61% of cases aged 65 and older, and 80% with at least one risk factor
Mortality surveillance
