Surveillance of Hepatitis B and C in the Rhône-Alpes Region, 2010–2012.

With the creation of Regional Health Agencies, which established the region as the key geographic and political unit for organizing the healthcare system, the surveillance system for viral hepatitis B and C established by the InVS has evolved to take this regional dimension into account. Thus, on the occasion of National Viral Hepatitis B and C Day (May 19, 2014), during which the first "report on the care of people infected with hepatitis B and C viruses" was presented, the InVS made available the regional surveillance indicators for hepatitis B and C.This regional epidemiological update on hepatitis B and C surveillance, focusing on screening activities and the care of hepatitis B and C patients, presents these indicators for the Rhône-Alpes region.
