Public Health Surveillance in Rhône-Alpes. Epidemiological Update as of October 3, 2013.
Dengue
Since the start of the enhanced surveillance period in four of our departments, 37 imported cases have been confirmed by the CNR. Entomological investigations have not identified any populations of Aedes albopictus mosquitoes near the homes of the cases. Consequently, no treatment was necessary.
Sentinel Networks Data
from the past two weeks (September 16–29) indicate low activity for acute diarrhea, flu-like symptoms, and chickenpox.
