Situation in Rhône-Alpes

  • Acute Diarrhea / Gastroenteritis: The Sentinelles network reports moderate activity in medical consultations for acute diarrhea for weeks 45 and 46 (November 5–18), with 132 and 177 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively. At the same time, SOS Médecins associations remained on alert, although the number of gastroenteritis diagnoses was trending downward.

  • Chickenpox: In Rhône-Alpes, the Sentinelles network indicates that activity, which was considered high in week 45 (November 5–11) with 47 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, returned to moderate levels in week 46 (November 12–18), when the estimated incidence rate was 26 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

  • Bronchiolitis: The active circulation of RSV and other viruses, such as rhinoviruses, in our region is contributing to the epidemic.
