Situation in Rhône-Alpes

  • Acute Diarrhea / Gastroenteritis: The Sentinelles network reports moderate activity in medical consultations for acute diarrhea for weeks 49 and 50 (December 3–16), with 175 and 203 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively. SOS Médecins associations remain highly mobilized.

  • Nasopharyngitis: SOS Médecins data for Rhône-Alpes continue to show a high number of nasopharyngitis diagnoses in weeks 49 and 50 (December 3–16), with 387 and 353 diagnoses, respectively.

  • Bronchiolitis: The number of bronchiolitis diagnoses made by SOS Médecins and emergency departments in weeks 49 and 50 (December 3–16) remains high.

  • Chickenpox: In Rhône-Alpes, the Sentinelles network reports that activity, which was considered high in week 49 (December 3–9), dropped to a low level in week 50 (December 10–16), with an incidence rate of 19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

  • Carbon monoxide poisoning: The number of carbon monoxide poisoning cases remains high in Rhône-Alpes
