Thus, in emergency departments, heat-related conditions accounted for 0.26% of all visits, across all causes and age groups. The majority of visits occurred in departments under an orange alert (Loire, Puy-de-Dôme, and Rhône).

For yesterday (August 25):

• 10 emergency room visits for heat-related conditions across the entire region; these visits primarily involved people over the age of 75 (60%). Twenty percent were children under 15, and 20% were adults between 45 and 74 years old. Sixty percent of emergency room visits for heat-related illnesses were followed by hospitalization.

• No SOS Médecins consultations for heat-related illnesses were reported.
