Heat Wave and Health Alert System (SACS) 2014

The InVS, in collaboration with Météo-France, has established the Heat Wave Health Alert System (SACS), which is integrated into the National Heat Wave Plan (PNC) and aims to prevent significant health impacts from heat.The PNC is activated annually between June 1 and August 31 and provides for health monitoring of the population at the regional and departmental levels, in coordination with the InVS.
