Epidemiological Surveillance

2024: The year with the highest number of cases of ARA since the implementation of enhanced surveillance:

  • 274 imported cases of arboviral diseases, including:

    • 269 cases of dengue, mostly imported from Guadeloupe and Martinique

    • 4 cases of chikungunya

    • 1 case of Zika

  • 2 locally acquired cases of dengue reported in the Drôme

Entomological surveillance

127 new municipalities considered colonized in 2024 (for a total of 1,192 municipalities in the ARA)

Season with the highest number of adulticide treatments for vector control:

  • 212 surveys conducted

  • 87 of which detected the presence of tiger mosquito populations

  • 72 adulticide treatments for vector control carried out.
