Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation
Flu-like illnesses: The outbreak continues at a stable level. The virus circulating primarily in community practice is type A/H3N2, a strain included in this season’s vaccine.
Gastroenteritis: The outbreak is still in its growth phase.
Bronchiolitis: The outbreak continues at a moderate level in the community but is generating significant activity in emergency departments.
Chickenpox: The epidemiological situation for chickenpox is calm; the sharp increase in the number of cases in week 2016-51 remains to be confirmed.
