Surveillance of bronchiolitis in Martinique. Update as of November 18, 2019.

Epidemiological Situation

Bronchiolitis surveillance indicators in primary care and hospitals have been declining for several weeks. The data should be interpreted with caution given the school vacation period and the lack of data on emergency room visits at the MFME during the first week of November. In total, since the start of the outbreak, an estimated 215 primary care visits for bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age have been recorded.

The epidemic appears to have begun to decline.
