Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation
Flu-like Illnesses: The flu activity recorded in the city since mid-February indicates the start of an epidemic, preceded since late January by activity recorded in emergency departments. In addition, five patients developed severe cases, one of whom died. The flu virus circulating predominantly since mid-January is A(H1N1)pdm09.
GastroenteritisThe outbreak has continued at a moderate level since the beginning of the year.
Bronchiolitis: The outbreak has ended in Guadeloupe.
Chickenpox: Chickenpox activity has been increasing for the past two weeks among general practitioners. Its progression should be monitored.
