Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation
All epidemiological surveillance indicators point to a decline in influenza activity in Guadeloupe, with a decrease in the number of visits for flu-like symptoms, emergency room visits, and viral identifications. The seasonal influenza epidemic in Guadeloupe has ended. It lasted 12 weeks and did not result in any severe cases. The circulating subtypes were influenza A (A/H3 and H1N1) and B, and the most active circulating virus was A/H3.
