Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

While the trend appears to be declining in Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy and stabilizing in Guadeloupe (a trend that will need to be confirmed in the coming weeks), we are seeing an acceleration and spread of the epidemic in Martinique, where all municipalities are affected. In Guadeloupe, cases have been identified in two new municipalities, and six municipalities are experiencing an incidence rate higher than the departmental average. In French Guiana, the spread of the virus remains moderate but is expanding from the outbreak identified in the municipality of Kourou and now affects the island of Cayenne.
